31: Tate Modern near the Millennium Bridge

Tate ModernLook to the left by the trees and down a pedestrian-only side street is the way to the Millennium footbridge crossing the river to Tate Modern — the art gallery in a former power station. The bridge is better known as the wobbly bridge after the swaying motion that was evident after the initial opening. Engineers were eventually able to fix the problem by attaching dampers to the structure. From here to the art gallery is about 10 minutes walk.
