Back to Regent Street The Desigual store on London's Regent Street. This block at 208-222 Regent Street is the Liberty building, once part of the Liberty department store, but is now occupied by other retailers. The Liberty department store is around the corner in Great Marlborough Street. Liberty was particularly well known for selling silk fabrics and ornaments from the Orient, and at the top of the building is the frieze 'Britannia with the Wealth of East and West' showing the goods of the world making their way to London. There are three characters above the parapet looking down on the action, like spectators at a show. Back to Regent Street
