A three minute walk from Bond Street station

London ultra-short walk (08)

This is the tube station exit that is convenient for visiting Selfridges department store. When you emerge onto Oxford Street, the huge building can be seen behind the trees, often with yellow flags flying on the roof, and is only a short walk away.

There seem to be many different stations all called “Bond Street” in this part of the West End, but it is in fact all the same underground station, connected together via an intricate web of pedestrian tunnels, escalators and lifts underneath the street.

The platforms on the Elizabeth line are an astonishing 225 metres long. They were built with an exit at each end but the quickest navigation can still take a bit of practice.
