Less than one minute walk from Knightsbridge station
The Knightsbridge station exit 1 is across the road from Harvey Nichols department store, and to the left of the Mandarin Oriental hotel.
Just behind, there is a footpath called Serpentine walk which leads directly into Hyde Park, and a peaceful retreat from the noisy road junction here, often jammed with traffic.
If you want to see the Household Cavalry on their way from the nearby barracks making their way to Buckingham Palace for the Changing of the Guard, it is best to arrive here at about 10.20am (weekdays).
