This is the northern end of Sloane Street, a short walk from Knightsbridge station. Harriet Street leads towards pedestrian-friendly Motcomb Street (go round the square and turn right).


The majority of Sloane Street is owned and managed by The Cadogan Estate. The land has been in the same aristocratic family for over 300 years, dating back to when Sir Hans Sloane purchased the surrounding area in 1712.


The street continues southwards, with a section in the middle lined with a smart red-brick Victorian townhouses, but the elegant shops at the southern end are easier to visit from Sloane Square, four minutes walk from the station.
